David and Goliath? Or North Korea and the U.S?

As I was reading the following story put out by Zero Hedge, a thought occurred to me.  Is North Korea the small, stone throwing David with the U.S. portraying the mighty armor bearing, sword wielding Goliath?  All it took was one small stone to bring down Goliath.  Is that all it will take to bring down the U.S?
