The Beginning of the Last Reformation

This is real.  I’ve experienced it for myself.. am continuing to experience it, but haven’t taken the next step of faith into the next part.  I hope you’ll watch this movie.  It’s powerful and it’s how we need to be living in these last days.

Signs That Follow Those Who Believe

Mark 16:15-18 “And he (Jesus) said unto them, ‘Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be damned. AND ALL THESE SIGNS SHALL FOLLOW THEM THAT BELIEVE: In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.”

Those words weren’t just for the apostles. They were for all believers from Pentecost through the end of days. Jesus said it was for them that believe and he didn’t put a time limit on it as some would like to believe.

I was blessed to witness the Holy Spirit in action last weekend at the small church that my parents attend. People were saved, healed, and filled with the Holy Spirit. My own dad was filled with the Holy Ghost; and his left hand, which was riddled with arthritis causing him great pain, was healed.

I have only recently begun to grasp what being filled with the Holy Spirit means and how we are given the power and authority as believers in Jesus Christ to not only be a testimony, a witness to the lost, but to use the signs that follow us as evidence of that power and authority.  We must humble ourselves and be willing to let the Holy Spirit work through us.  That’s the key I’ve discovered.  Like dying to self, we must also humble ourselves, and let God use us as he sees fit.

We NEED the power and authority of the Holy Spirit in these last dark days.  We need it in order to be the light of the world, to defend ourselves against the attacks of the enemy, and to be strong, powerful witnesses of the gospel of Jesus Christ in order to win over the souls of those who are lost and hurting. We need to be like the disciples – those believers – who were  filled with the Holy Ghost in the first minutes of the creation of the church – the body of Christ.  They were bold, fearless, and they believed.  They believed in the power of God and they weren’t afraid to embrace the signs that followed them.  They allowed the Holy Spirit to work in them and through them to be a witness to the world around them.  Yes, the signs that followed them were indeed convicting to a lost world. They didn’t rely on doctrine to reach lost souls, they relied on the Holy Spirit to work through them – both in their words and in action.  We need to be like them.  We need to fully embrace the Holy Spirit believing in his power and authority to convict the hearts of men through our speech and actions.

Another great article written by Belle Ringer of Salvation and Survival addresses this much better than I can.  Click through on the link below.
